Establishing a conscious connection in gravity and opening to breath, this dynamic class begins gently and blends core activation, with a 40-minute vitalizing movement sequence before a deep stretch. Fostering a sense of calm and enhancing resilience in the nervous system, you can expect to feel energized and relaxed after this class.

Chair Yoga & Meditation

Chair yoga offers many possibilities to ground, strengthen the core, mobilize the spine and enliven the body. With gratitude as your foundation, let this practice further your capacity to self-regulate and connect more deeply to your breath. As we learn to relax our bodies and soften into ourselves, yoga supports a refinement of perception, an expansive sense of being alive, and a heart opening return to love.

Gentle Therapeutics

Harmonizing the nervous system, this gentle practice is safe and slow moving, supporting students to work at their own level. Through relaxing the body and quieting the mind, tensions soften and awareness awakens. Exploring gentle postures mostly on the floor, this therapeutic approach to yoga induces the relaxation response through conscious breath and invokes tranquility at every level.

Tensegrity & BackMitra

Alternating aspects of the tensegrity series with BackMitra sequences results in a profound release of the back body. Tensegrity practice cultivates an even tone in the body through balancing the forces of tension and compression. Letting go of effort, we learn to engage with ease. Developed by Gioia Irwin, the tensegrity repair series cultivates neutral space in joints, eases tensions in the low back and strengthens the core. Combined with the restorative alignment work using the BackMitra mid-back, this class vitalizes energy flow and promotes equanimity.

NEW CLASS: Yoga for Grief & Gratitude

Yoga for Grief & Gratitude is a gentle approach to tend our grief and pain using movement, breath and sound. Seated in a chair, we explore grounding practices to cultivate presence and instill safety. Connecting to breath and flowing through movements, we use sound and intention to express feelings and open to the innate wisdom of the body. Learning to trust our own process is empowering. Allowing e-motion to move, we often experience a sense of relief resulting in a sense of lightness as energy is liberated to flow. This work is invitational and guided to support you just where you are at. There is no agenda – just a pathway of possibilities toward awareness and love.
Come home to yourself.

BackMitra & Core Ignition

Using this brilliant prop, your spine will become limber and alive. Spending hours on the computer often results in a collapsed chest and forward head position posture. The BackMitra work allows the shoulder girdle to release onto the ribcage, liberating the mid-back and neck, widening the breath and opening the heart. Incorporating several core ignition sequences, this class will strengthen your core, ease tension in your whole body and leave you energized and empowered.
